Warfighter programs will get boost from prominent executive
BOWIE, Md.—May 16, 2016—The MIL Corporation (MIL) is pleased to announce that it has added Larry Hollingsworth to its ranks as a vice president in its Corporate Business Development (CBD) sector. Hollingsworth will focus on warfighter programs for MIL, a mid-sized government contractor.
A recently retired Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Director with 31 years of civil service experience, Hollingsworth will guide the overall expansion of MIL’s business endeavors. In particular, his tenure at the executive level in the DoD community will enhance MIL’s methods of support for warfighter programs and opportunity development within the intelligence community.

Hollingsworth brings with him a long list of accomplishments and prestigious roles. Most recently, he served in a dual capacity as the National Director of AIR-4.5 Avionics Department and the Director of Rapid Response/Irregular Warfare at the Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. He was the Product Area Executive for all of the Naval Aviation Enterprises Avionics inclusive of; Communications, Navigation, Electro-Optical, Radar, Air Traffic Control, Identification Friend or Foe, Anti- Submarine Warfare, Electronic Warfare and Automatic Landing Systems Equipment.

Among many accolades, Hollingsworth is the recipient of the Black Engineer of the Year Award (BEYA) for his professional achievement in government, the Presidential Rank award recipient for Meritorious Executive Service, and the National Society of Black Engineers Golden Torch Award recipient for Lifetime Achievement in Government. Hollingsworth earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Washington University and his Master of Science in Engineering Administration from Catholic University.
