Making products that work for you
At MIL, we can handle all of your mechanical design needs, whether simple or innovative. We have a full staff of engineers in the fields of mechanical, electrical, and IT, as well as mechanical designers and CAD operators. Ready and able, our designers have been instrumental in imagining and creating many of the mechanical interfaces, brackets, shelves, restraints, and associated slides that have been installed on platforms for the Defense Department and Homeland Security. By necessity, our security-cleared technicians are well-versed in the calculations needed to determine metal/material weight, hardware sizing, and impacts of each on system requirements, such as G Loading for an aircraft.
Collectively, MIL’s engineering staff have designed and implemented a range of mechanical components. We’ve worked in a variety of environments, including but not limited to shipboard systems (rack and system installations); modified towers, vehicles, and aircraft; and mocked-up military construction sites during the planning of ship spaces and aircraft fuselage.
