Supporting our Warfighters
MIL offers mobile, shipboard, airborne, and unmanned REPS systems engineering support services to our customers. Focusing on the rapid response organizations under Ship & Shore Based Electronic Systems, we engineer and support programs at both on and off-site locations. MIL provides our Navy customers with new technologies and effective solutions; supplying quick, cost effective, and efficient answers to the Warfighters’ ongoing REPS requirements.
To meet our customers’ REPS information system needs, our engineering and logistics professionals bring expertise in:
- Requirements analysis and determination – We work with our customers to determine mission-essential needs and parameters for performance, maintainability, and total ownership costs for planned systems
- Test & evaluation – MIL supports test planning and execution by developing test requirements definitions, test plans, and test procedures. We also provide sound recommendations on success criteria and acceptance guidelines for systems and subsystems alike
- System design, integration, installation, and fielding – We provide expertise in production planning and execution for fixed, mobile, and air platforms communications/electronic systems including site installation, certification, and acceptance
- Integrated logistics planning and support – Our experienced logisticians work hand-in-hand with our engineers to ensure supportability is designed into the system right from the start, avoiding the common problem of trying to develop ILS processes after the fact
- Lifecycle and sustainment support – We continually review existing systems to determine technical support options, obsolescence issues, sparing, and other related ILS functions such as end of life considerations. - Training – Our technical staff has a wide expanse of expertise in communications, IT, audio video, and power/ environmental control systems that is used to provide structured training events or more informal on-the-job training as requirements dictate
